Saw blades for knee endoprosthesis

EZ and KMS blades.

Both the EZ blades and the KMS saw blades are supplied in blister packs. The saw blades are firmly secured inside the blister pack by means of an insert that is specifically adapted to the connection of the saw blade inside the pack.

Each blister pack contains a set of labels comprising the main label and 4 patient labels. To ensure safe transport to the patient, the blisters are packed in a box made of a sturdy material along with the instructions for use. One set of instructions is enclosed with each box.

The packaging unit for sterile packed EZ blades is 1 instrument, whereas the KMS saw blades come in packs of 10.

KM saw blades for small & large bone surgery

KM saw blades for small & large bone surgery and sternotomy.

All KM saw blades, whether oscillating, sagittal or reciprocating, are packed in a tubular bag with blade guard (twin tubular bag). Each twin tubular bag contains a set of labels comprising the main label and 4 patient labels. To ensure safe transport to the patient, the twin tubular bags are packed in a box made of a sturdy material along with the instructions for use. One set of instructions is enclosed with each box.

The packaging unit for the sterile packed KM saw blades for small and large bone surgery and sternotomy is 5 instruments.

Rotary instruments

Rotary precision tools.

Rotary instruments with a shank diameter of 2.35 mm and 3.16 mm are packed in blister packs. Each blister pack contains a set of labels comprising the main label and 4 patient labels. To ensure safe transport to the patient, the blisters are packed in a box made of a sturdy material along with the instructions for use. One set of instructions is enclosed with each box.

The packaging unit for the sterile packed rotary instruments is 5 units. Single packs are available in exceptional cases.

Pins for endoprosthesis

Guide pins and screws for endoprosthesis.

Guide pins and screws for knee endoprosthesis are packed in a tubular bag and, in addition, in a QPTL tube for extra protection. Each twin tubular bag contains a set of labels comprising the main label and 4 patient labels. To ensure safe transport to the patient, the twin tubular bags are packed in a box made of a sturdy material along with the instructions for use. One set of instructions is enclosed with each box.

The packaging units for sterile packed guide pins and screws are 2 or 4 instruments.

Drill bits/Twist drills

Drill bits/Twist drills for bone surgery.

Drill bits/Twist drills are packed in a tubular bag and, in addition, in a QPTL tube for extra protection. Each twin tubular bag contains a set of labels comprising the main label and 4 patient labels. To ensure safe transport to the patient, the twin tubular bags are packed in a box made of a sturdy material along with the instructions for use. One set of instructions is enclosed with each box.

The packaging unit for sterile packed twist drills is 5 instruments. Cannulated twist drills come in single packs.

MIS foot cutters

Instruments for minimally invasive percutaneous foot surgery.

MIS foot cutters are packed in blister packs. Each blister pack contains a set of labels comprising the main label and 4 patient labels. To ensure safe transport to the patient, the blisters are packed in a box made of a sturdy material along with the instructions for use. One set of instructions is enclosed with each box.

Sterile corneal rust ring removers (burs for ophthalmology).

Corneal rust ring removers are packed in blister packs. Each blister pack contains a set of labels comprising the main label and 4 patient labels. To ensure safe transport to the patient, the blisters are packed in a box made of a sturdy material along with the instructions for use. One set of instructions is enclosed with each box.

Sterile corneal rust ring removers (burs for ophthalmology) are available in packs of 10 and 20 instruments.

Non-sterile packaging solutions

Saw blades

 

The non-sterile packaging of saw blades is always composed of an outer tubular bag containing five inner tubular bags holding one instrument each, and a set of instructions. The outer tubular and the five inner tubular bags are provided with perforations to facilitate opening. The outer and each of the inner tubular bags are provided with a label.

Rotary instruments | Pins for endoprosthesis | Drill bits/Twist drills | MIS foot cutters

The non-sterile packaging of rotary instruments, pins for endoprosthesis and MIS foot cutters is always composed of an outer tubular bag containing five instruments, each of which individually packed in an inner tubular bag and a QP tube, as well as a set of instructions for use. The outer tubular and the five inner tubular bags are provided with perforations to facilitate opening. Each of the inner tubular bags and the outer tubular bag are provided with a label.

Some exceptions, for example drill bits/twist drills for bone surgery, are supplied in single packs.
